MEET OUR TEAM

To us, LNLS Animal Rescue, Inc. goes beyond just saving animals. It's about healing, spreading love, and providing a home to every animal who needs it.

Co-Founder and President

I always started rescuing animals, even as a child. We had a baby skunk, birds, cats– I was always bringing home something to take care of. When I went to middle school and high school I worked on the weekends for a local veterinarian, which increased my love of animals and passion for helping them. I originally started out wanting to be a veterinarian, but then life got in the way and I got married, had babies, and chose a different career path. I still rescued cats and kittens on the side every once in a while. That was until 2019 happened when Linda and I helped 16 cats and kittens and decided we needed to make it an official nonprofit so we can follow our mission statement and help more animals.

LINDA CAMPBELL

Co-Founder and President

As far back as I can remember, my family has rescued animals. As a child, we always had rescue dogs. When I was 6 or 7, I can remember pulling up to a gas station & seeing this beautiful German Shepherd in a pen. She was the station ‘guard dog’.  I don’t know what she was guarding, all I remember was how sad & lonely that pretty girl looked. Well, her days of loneliness and ‘guarding’ the gas station from her pen were over–that German Shepherd left with the Campbell family. We named her Liz, and she went on to live a long, wonderful life.  The Campbell Family went on to open our home to a few more rescue dogs throughout the years. We also had turtles, cats, horses, and rabbits. So, I like to say that I have my parents to thank for my lifelong pursuit of helping & rescuing animals. Once I had a family of my own, I kept the momentum going. Over the years, my family has had the privilege of sharing our lives with some wonderful souls! Dogs, cats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, lizards, snakes, fish, birds and hermit crabs! Volunteering has always been important to us and we’ve helped out whenever we could with fostering, transports, home visits, walking dogs and playtime for local rescues. Catching and rehoming a few cats over the years, with my dear friend, Lynn Smiley, has now suddenly taken on a life of its own. Somehow, this summer, we managed to rescue 16 cats/kittens! It’s the next logical step for us, to make it official so that we can make an impact on the lives who can't help themselves.
